Who is Betty Rocker? Betty Rocker is me! My name is Bree Argetsinger, but I was called “punk rock Betty Crocker” since I was a little girl - which morphed into Betty Rocker!

I’m a certified trainer, nutrition specialist and motivator of personal growth, and I support women all over the world of all ages as they transform inside and out.

My passion for fitness and health developed after going through many of my own health challenges, inadvertently treating my body badly and never feeling like I was good enough. Through continuing education, self-reflection, and a lot of hard work, I developed practices and protocols based on science, my own intuition and experience, and a deep desire to support other women who were struggling as well.

Can I Do This At Home? What if I’m traveling, or at the gym?

Yes! Home Workout Domination is designed to be done from home with minimal equipment. It’s a great option to take with you traveling as you’ll have access to the entire program on any device. You can most certainly do these workouts in the gym too if you’re there!

What equipment do I need?

You’ll have a demo videos for each workout to show you how to do the workout with/without equipment in addition to the follow along workout videos, so you’ll see options. If you’re doing it with home workout equipment, you’ll use:

  • dumbbells – alternatives: water jugs, cans, wine bottles, water bottles
  • a swiss ball – alternatives: sliders, an ottoman, paper plates
  • cables/bands – alternatives: a towel, ankle weights, dumbbells or dumbbell alternatives
  • jump rope – alternative: air jump rope

The equipment itself is optional, as you can use bodyweight and still get a great workout. You can also use household items to add resistance if you don’t have any equipment yet.

How are the workouts set up and how long are they?

Home Workout Domination works your body head to toe – working upper body, lower body, full body, HIIT training and yoga in a sequence to keep your body guessing and get you results!

You’ll be doing “superset” workouts, which are like short circuits pairing strength with cardio to give you the maximum effect in the shortest amount of time.

Each workout will contain several supersets so you can efficiently move through the workout and maximize the opportunity to get stronger and lose unwanted body fat.

You will have options for each exercise – you can do these workouts using only body weight or add more resistance with various workout equipment or household objects like water bottles and furniture.

The workouts are 25 min to 35 min in length, depending on the day. If you’re short on time, you can leave one superset off so you can still get your workout done. The plan is written for 5 days a week – but I’ve included a custom 3-day plan for you as well.

Is this challenge good for me if I’m in perimenopause? Or postmenopause?

One of the reasons we see such a high success rate from women of different life stages is because of the training schedule and type of workouts I created for the Home Workout Domination program.

Not only does this program include resistance training and explosive cardio (essential for us as we age, helping us improve bone density, preserve and add lean muscle, and lose body fat) it includes a training schedule that is optimal for women of all ages to see real results (and we do, all the time!).

Working different body parts on consecutive days then taking a full recovery day (or 2) is one of my optimal training schedules for peri and post menopausal women, and gives great results when you’re in your cycling years as well.

The reason this is especially beneficial for women in peri and postmenopause is because as our levels of estrogen and progesterone drop and then fall off we lose a lot of the resilience and recovery ability we had in our regular cycling years and struggle to maintain muscle and lose fat.

Programs where you are overtraining never give your body time to catch up from the inflammatory load that an effective workout gives you, meaning you’re always breaking down more muscle than your body can rebuild, and that contributes to slowing your metabolism making it harder to lose body fat.

You want to be able to give your all in the workouts that you do so you can stimulate the muscle to respond, then recover effectively so you can create the maximum stimulus in your next workout as well. Nutrition plays a role here too, you must be eating enough protein and food in general to support your energy.

Overtraining can affect you at any age, but we’re especially sensitive to it later in life with the lower levels of our hormones.

There are 2 training sequences I like to use for the later life stages both of which are highly effective, and Home Workout Domination includes BOTH OPTIONS - I’ve sequenced the program as 2 days on, (training different body parts), then optimal recovery days - AND given you a bonus calendar with the alternative training sequence that is a M-W-F workout format with a self care/yoga on the weekend.

This training structure is also highly effective (I use it myself) and you can see which one you respond best to and can be consistent with. It’s all included in the program.

Is it ok for beginners?

Yes, this program is awesome for beginners – it’s actually great for all fitness levels! Since you’ll be the one choosing the equipment and resistance (i.e. how much weight you use) you can safely start where you are at.
