Taking Rock and Restore will help you rock your workouts, build lean muscle, recover faster, boost your immune system and improve cognitive function.
Rock And Restore Your Body.

Amino acids are involved in virtually ALL of your body’s cellular processes. You may associate them the most with their role in muscle building and exercise support, but they’re also the raw materials needed to make important neurotransmitters (such as dopamine and serotonin), hormones, enzymes, and immune system antibodies. They also serve crucial roles in cellular energy generation.

When you eat dietary protein (including protein in your meals, or in a protein shake), the amino acids must be broken down before your body can use them for all the essential jobs they do.

Amino acids in their free form (like they are in Rock and Restore) are immediately available for absorption, and can be used more quickly metabolically than the amino acids your body has to break down from dietary protein.

What are the essential amino acids, and where do the BCAA’s fit in?

Rock And Restore.

Of the 20 amino acids, there are 9 that the body cannot make on its own and must get from dietary sources. These 9 are called the Essential Amino Acids and they are all found in Rock and Restore.

Rock And Restore.

Unlike fat and carbohydrates, which the body can store easily for later use in the liver and fat cells, the body doesn’t store amino acids for later use - which is why it’s important to include protein regularly throughout the day in your meals.

The protein you eat gets broken down into amino acids, but different foods provide different combinations of amino acids and not every food contains all the essential amino acids. Plus, the amino acids you eat aren’t immediately available for use as they have to go through the digestive process first.

Without adequate consumption of all of the essential amino acids, the body may break down healthy tissue like muscle tissue to obtain the amino acids needed to perform essential functions like making energy, enzymes, neurotransmitters, hormones and its immune response role.

The branch-chain amino acids (BCAA’s) are 3 of the best known essential amino acids because of their ability to support muscle growth, muscle repair and recovery.
Rock and Restore contains all 3 branch-chain amino acids, including the optimal dose of leucine, considered the most anabolic BCAA (promoting muscle protein synthesis).

Drink Rock and Restore before, during or after your workout to not only provide your body with the building blocks needed for muscle protein synthesis, repair and recovery of muscle tissue but all the other benefits in essential amino acids as well!

and its roles in your body.

Leucine

Leucine is a branch chain amino acid (BCAA) and is considered to be the most anabolic (muscle building) amino acid. Leucine-enriched essential amino acid ingestion has been shown to stimulate muscle protein synthesis by activating the mTOR signalling pathway.

Leucine is also necessary for proper nitrogen balance, which contributes to muscle recovery.

Isoleucine

Isolucein is a branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) that’s important for stabilizing and regulating blood sugar, and helping to maintain regular energy levels. It’s also needed for hemoglobin formation.

Valine

Valine is also a branch-chain amino acid (and essential amino acid) that helps prevent muscle proteins from breaking down during exercise, both protecting muscle tissue and helping to assist in muscle recovery.

Arginine

Arginine plays an important role in cell division, wound healing, removing ammonia from the body and supporting immune function as well as the release of hormones. It also helps with the production of nitric oxide which is a vasodilator (increases blood flow).

Histidine

Histidine is the direct precursor of histamine, and is needed to help grow and repair body tissues and to maintain the myelin sheaths that protect nerve cells. Histadine also helps manufacture red and white blood cells and helps to protect the body from heavy metal toxicity.

Lysine

Lysine helps the body absorb and conserve calcium, and it plays an important role in the formation of collagen. It may also help support a growth hormone response.

Tryptophan

Tryptophan is critical for nitrogen balance, which is necessary for creating an anabolic environment that allows the body to build new muscle and recover from strenuous exercise. Tryptophan is essential for the biosynthesis of niacin, which is critical for the production of the neurotransmitter serotonin.

Phenylalanine

Phenylalanine plays a key role in the biosynthesis of other amino acids, such as tyrosine, and various neurotransmitters, including dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine.

Methionine

Methionine contains sulfur, and helps your liver process fat, helps ensure normal liver function, and prevents accumulation of fat in your liver. It also supports the liver in regulating glutathione levels. Glutathione is needed to help neutralize toxins in the liver. Methionine reacts with adenosine triphosphate to form S-adenosylmethionine, the principal methyl donor in the body and key contributor to the synthesis of many important compounds, including epinephrine and choline.

Threonine

Threonine is an essential amino acid that is an important component in the formation of protein, collagen, elastin, and tooth enamel. It is also important for neurotransmitter production and nervous system health.

Alpha-Ketoglutarate

Alpha-ketoglutarate is a compound involved in the generation of energy inside cells. Providing this, along with the free-form essential amino acids in Rock and Restore may help promote stamina and healthy energy levels.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 is required for many reactions that convert amino acids into their end products, for example, tyrosine into dopamine. Synthesis of collagen — the main structural protein in the body — requires B6.

FAQS:

What are Essential Amino Acids?

Of the 20 amino acids, there are 9 that the body cannot make on its own and must get from dietary sources. All 9 of these essential amino acids (EAA’s), which include the branch chain amino acids (BCAA’s), are included in Rock and Restore.

Unlike fat and carbohydrates which the body can store easily for later in the liver and in fat cells, the body doesn’t store amino acids for later use - which is why it’s important to include protein regularly throughout the day in your meals.

The protein you eat gets broken down into amino acids, but different foods provide different combinations of amino acids and not every food that contains protein contains all the essential aminos.

Without adequate consumption of all of the EAA’s, the body may break down healthy tissue like muscle tissue to obtain the amino acids it needs to perform essential functions.

How do I use Rock and Restore?

You can use it before, during or after a workout - all times will support and replenish your essential amino acid stores. Mix 1 scoop into 8-12 oz of water (Betty Rocker likes hers with more water than less) and combine until well blended using a shaker bottle or stirring vigorously. Since this is a free-form amino acid and not dietary protein, you will not feel “full” from drinking it and can eat normally post-workout.

You can also use it on non-workout days if you feel you are not taking in enough dietary protein, as it will help supplement your overall essential amino acid intake.

How does Rock and Restore support my workouts?

Rock and Restore contains all 3 of the branch-chain amino acids (BCAA’s). BCAA’s are well known for supporting muscle growth, repair and recovery and Rock and Restore contains an optimal dose of the BCAA leucine, considered the most anabolic amino acid (promoting muscle protein synthesis and metabolic activity), which is particularly applicable for athletes and anyone looking to build lean muscle mass.

Drink it before, during or after your workout to provide your body with the building blocks needed for muscle protein synthesis and repair and recovery of muscle tissue.

Is Rock and Restore Gluten and Dairy Free? Vegetarian? Are there added sugars?

Yes, this formula is 100% gluten and dairy free, contains no added sugars, and is also vegetarian and hypo-allergenic.

Can you ship this outside of the continental USA?

We would absolutely LOVE to, however each country sets specific regulations on what kind of food products can be imported so we ship only to the USA at this time. We can’t guarantee it will make it to you through customs due to regulations your country may have on importing supplements. We apologize for this inconvenience!
